Chairman’s speech
Man has striven for justice since ancient times. His succession on earth was a "message", and the attainment of justice was his aim. Accordingly, an approach leading to natural justice was found in customary principles broadened to draw the general principles of laws man has known, which lead to man-made legislation. Issued laws and written regulations were drawn up with generality and abstraction. Then, penalties were enforced over whoever didn’t abide by those rules. Those materialized penalties were determined by competent authorities whenever violations would take place.
With the diversity of thought, the flourishing of civilizations, and the multiplicity of transactions, legislation pursued all these variables to encompass all legal relations man could participate in. So, the laws and their sources varied, classifications, and methods of enforcement of those penalties multiplied upon violation or infringement, and the right to defend oneself became one of the highest human rights recognized by international covenants, constitutions, man-made laws, and ingrained customs.
Everyone has the right to choose their defender before the court of law and compose their argument ensuring a sense of security, with the rule of law prevailing justice.
Those who have the legal standing shall have a fair companion who beholds them, speaks by their tongue, writes with their pen, and always represents them best. And so as we carry this message, to obtain justice, we carry the burden of the Trust that heavens and earth all refused to carry such a duty. We count ourselves one of those carriers.
